In this practical scenario, we are going to crack Linux password with a simple password. Linux primarily use a one-way encryption algorithm, called DES (Data Encryption Standard) to encrypt your passwords. So here we are going to start this session in an easiest way to hack Linux Password.
Follow these Steps:
Step 1.
First Restart your PC and press “E” then find a line which start with “linux16” and then press “End” key
Then type “rd.break” and press “ctrl+x” key

Step 2.
In this step you see a terminal like “Switch_root:#” so here type two commands:
#mount -o remount,rw /sysroot #chroot /sysroot
Step 3.
Now we access the original Linux terminal. Here we need to type following command to hack the password of “root” user:
#passwd rootChanging password for
user root. New password: Retype new password: passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.
After creating a new password press “ctrl+d” two times. It will Restart your PC and Boom you successfully hack Linux password in such an easiest way.
