Hi, I am new to this forum and raidforums, so not sure if this has been asked before. Admins, please move this post to its right place if this is not a right place.
I'm curious to know, on a Window 10 enterprise machine, what Win 10 services (from services.msc) are required to run in background, for Jabber to run peacefully? I mean, If they are stopped in services.msc, Cisco Jabber won't crash, but won't receive any calls?
Or is it possible to achieve the same goal if I rig a Kali machine interfaced with an Alfa AWUS036NHA adapter? Say, by interfering with my network in some way?
I work in a contact center, currently working from home. My goal is not to crash the Jabber softphone running on my machine, but to ensure that no calls are landing on this machine, when I don't want them. Something which I could control from another machine.
Please make note that this is a work machine with Windows 10 enterprise imaged, and I don't have admin credentials, so I can not install anything on it, however, portable apps can run on it with not much hassle.
I can also boot the same machine into Ubuntu.
SSD installed has bitlocker enabled on it.
My broadband is my home broadband, on which I have full control from router onwards.
I am very new to all this and literally a novice in Kali, so please excuse my ignorance. But I do understand tech generally, so I think I can manage to follow your tips
Thanks in advance ?
